Good suggestion. With more info and some digging, we found that we had two
separate problems, both of which looked the same - windows not drawing
properly.
One of these two problems was seen by several users on different machines.
It was reproducible, and in one case rather persistent (lasted for 30
minutes). Turns out this one was due to a bug in our code.
The second problem was reported only by one user. He sent two different
screen shots showing empty windows. But when I asked for more details, he
stated that he's seen the problem only once (in several hours of using the
program). This seems to be something that can be safely ignored - I've seen
occasional drawing problems in many different programs (rarely, though).
Thanks for the tips about using System Profiler from a script or
Runtime.exec, I'm sure that will come in handy sometime.
