Re: Is there a guide to use Java in xcode?

to get compiler warnings again in xcode. there were lost in some
xcode or java update. i mean, it still still says there are
warnings but you cannot double click and go straight into the code
anymore. i remember this used to work some time before.

I had the same problem after that functionality was lost. And don't know if it can be brought back. Now I click on the warning / error count in the bottom right of the main window after compiling, which opens the build results window, where you have nice navigation and to- code jumping. I like it now that I am used to it.

I'm using an external build target (firing off ant with the -emacs control argument), and I get functional error messages (that is, clicking on the error line in the primary build output window causes the offending statement to appear in the attached edit window). This also seems to work with a "make" external target (no need for the - emacs argument, though), although anyone using "make" to build Java ought to have their head examined (I use it for building JNI libs).
