| Hi! I'm currently charged with exploring the possibilities for an Java application to play (and only play) MP3 and Shoutcast on Mac OS X using the OS onboard capabilities (to avert licensing problems). Ideally the Java app would hand off the URL of the stream to be played, through JNI, to the concerned module of the OS. My questions are: Is there a Shoutcast codec available in e.g. Core Audio? Has anybody done this before? Viele Grüße / Best regards Ravi Yadav |
