You're right, it may not have any direct impact - though presuming
that the Apple Java engineers have some sympathy with our problems it
might be a handy archive of messages for them to show their bosses.
Whether it has any impact or not, since this is a forum for java
developers who work with OSX it does seem like a reasonable place to
discuss the matter, doesn't it ?

I really share everyone's frustration, but whether we're polite or not
on this mailing list is just not going to influence anyone at Apple
who
is in a position to make a difference.
