Well Greg, it would be a technical discussion if the Apple developers actually discussed our real issues. And yes, Java 6 support is a real issue for many of us. Again, I point out the totally different attitude on the X11-dev list. The developers discuss. Their management supports them. We get access to pre-release code and contribute to its success.
Java is not the next iPhone that requires secrecy. Everyone knows what is in Java 6. There was a pre-release version out there. If Apple is not going to support this, I need to sell my Mac and go back to Windows and Linux. There is no competitive reason for keeping the plans for this secret. And it hurts us for no good reason.
