Re: Are we still being polite about Java 6 ?




A question from a newcomer to the list (and to Java programming): When was the Java SE 6 beta posted? And when did it disappear?


(I guess that's two questions.)

P.S. I can't see how a major operating system could afford to abandon Java. What's going to happen when OS X users find that more and more websites won't work properly on their computers?
