Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 6 delivers improved reliability and compatibility for J2SE 5.0 and Java 1.4 on Mac OS X 10.4.10 and later. This release updates J2SE 5.0 to version 1.5.0_13 and Java 1.4 to version 1.4.2_16. See the release notes for more information.

While resisting the urge to add fuel to this fire, I just want to point out that Apple DID have public information about Java 6 on their Java developer page at one point <http://developer.apple.com/java/> which explicitly mentioned the developer preview available through ADC. Then they removed this information from the website without any explanation.
