Are you changing the transforms on any graphic contexts in a custom paint method of a component of that window? If so make sure you either create a new context using Graphics.create(...) or restore the original transform before returning from the paint method.

The net result was an upside down and mirrored version of the window and it's contents. Weird thing also was that I could still select a cell in a flipped and mirrored JTable. This software is for folks that produce tsunami warnings and it would be "inconvenient" for this to happen during an actual emergency. Java 1.5.0_13 on MacBook Pro, 10.4.11. TIA
