Getting wsgen to run in JDK 1.6

Hi there,

As written earlier (http://lists.apple.com/archives/java-dev/2006/Jul/ msg00218.html) the web services tools do not work in Java SE 6.0 Release 1 Developer Preview 4.

In a response to that message Greg Guerin wrote about the possibility to create a fake tools.jar file. Although I have tried various locations and contents for a fake tools.jar I was not able to get wsgen to run without the following exception:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.sun.tools.xjc.api.util.APTClassLoader.getToolsJar (APTClassLoader.java:95)
at com.sun.tools.xjc.api.util.APTClassLoader.<init> (APTClassLoader.java:33)
at com.sun.tools.ws.Invoker.main(Invoker.java:34)
at com.sun.tools.ws.WsGen.main(WsGen.java:28)

Is there someone who has managed to get wsgen running and is willing to share the 'howto' with me?
