Print Preview without Print dialog

I'm testing some printing code for a kiosk app which prints without popping up the print dialog. To save paper while testing, I'd like to be able to do the equivalent of pressing the "Preview" button in the print dialog. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm using PrinterJob, not javax.print. I don't want to implement my own preview dialog because I want to test going through the OS printing mechanism.
