Hi All,
A newbie to this list :) hullo to all.

I'm developing a simple applet that draws/displays an image. In order to prevent flickering, I override the update() method so that it uses double buffering.
When I open my applet in Windows, it works fine...but using mac (both safari and firefox) the applet still flickers.

I've read about the automatic double buffering in OS X and I'm wondering whether this might cause the problem....and what can I do.
