hmm..... to me... SWT Web browser widget might a bit heavy.... really
really nice if I able
to embed PDF viewer inside canvas or composite widget...

How about using the SWT Browser Widget? I believe it should pick up the
PDF plugin if the object is marked with the right MIME type. I've seen
someone else use that widget to play Flash content via the Flash plugin.
