The flicker that happens when scrolling the window, can that be fixed? Because (as I explained in my 2nd email, forgot to say it in my first :P) that is my problem, my applet flickers when scrolling the window around...

One solution is to use JApplet because that does the Right Thing on OS X and other platforms. Another might to be to look at java.awt.image.BufferStrategy. On the other hand, I don't see flickering on my animated Applets in Safari except when scrolling the window, so maybe you're doing some clearing that you haven;t spotted.
