Ulli,

I agree, AWT would be a better user experience, but it does not allow for selecting multiple files. If there was a way Apple could extend the AWT FileChooser, I bet many of us would be very very happy.

too bad :-( That would have been the easy fix. No other Idea, unfortunately. But as some others pointed out, using the AWT file dialog would be a much better user experience on Mac OS X (it's unfortunate, but true).
