Re: What happen to Java 6 ?

Ivan,
I believe that you may not be understanding the intent of the web page http://developer.apple.com/leopard/overview/ .  The web page intended to highlight the NEW things that are included in Leopard and give people compelling reasons to but Leopard versus their current OS X version.  You do not see shell scripting, HFS+ or perl mentioned, but you can safely bet that these things are going to be in Leopard.  In other words, don't look it as a comprehensive list.  I understand your anxiety given Steve Jobs' comments and Apple's subsequent lack of official comment (poor decision on their part IMHO), but I don't think you can justify the conclusion that standard java on OS X is in jeopardy.

My two cents.

Regards,
Michael

Are you saying that there will be no 1.6 yet when Leopard is
released? How do you know?
