Re: No Java 1.3 on Leopard anymore?

Hi everybody,

After installing Leopard, I noticed that Java 1.3 does not work anymore.

The directory /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/ 1.3.1 is still there, but it only contains the Libraries folder.
All other folders, like Classes, Commands, Home, …, are gone.

Is Java 1.3 not supported anymore on Leopard, or is this an installation issue on my machine, that I can fix somehow?

No. Java 1.3 is not included with Leopard. The 1.3.1 directory is there for compatibility with some apps that linked directly against one of the binaries.
