Re: Java-dev Digest, Vol 4, Issue 363

There's not much to it. Taking the snippet from my Info.plist file:

<key>LSBackgroundOnly</key>
<string>1</string>
<key>NSMainNibFile</key>
<string>MainMenu</string>
<key>NSPrincipalClass</key>
<string>NSApplication</string>

If you do edit the Info.plist file in a file you've recently run, duplicate it and run that duplicate. I've had caching problems modifying this flag before.

BTW: you may need to throw away your build folder before doing your

compile. I've had trouble where things were cached and changes to

my Info.plist didn't take effect until my app was built into a

fresh folder.

It's a strange one all right. The change is definitely being picked

up - the behaviour is changing, but not in the way I want.

Do you have an Info.plist I can have a look at? I can't help but

wonder if I'm doing something daft.
