RE: Apple took Java 1.6 away...

The Leopard NDA is, I'm pretty sure, still in effect, so nothing definitive can
really be said.

However, those expecting Java 1.6 with Leopard may want to reign in their
expectations.

Do a search of ADC for things related to Java and I think you'll have a hard
time finding anything more recent than 1.3.1. At least, I did a search for
"putClientProperty()," which I know I saw a document on a few months ago and
now...only 1.3.1 and WebObjects hits were returned.

Finding anything on Java 5 is difficult, too.

Is this just my ineffectual searching, or a harbinger of bad Java times ahead?
Only Apple can say and, of course, Apple isn't saying.

One other thing of note: many older packages are available via ADC (i.e. they
haven't disappeared), but Java isn't. Kind of makes one wonder, doesn't it?
