I was going to get excited about this, but I looked at his site, and he hasn't posted any code since May 12. So it looks like he's abandoned it, but still, it's a starting point if someone wants to take it over. In theory*, porting the Linux version to OS X while still using X11 shouldn't be that difficult.

I did communicate with him some time back and tried assisting him. I started using his patch and tried to compile. I guess he got busy or something couldn't move it forward. I'm not that good at C++ thing, but if some one experienced could shed some light, may be we can get the ball rolling, I do have some good amount of time I can spend.
