Having just read the following excellent review of Leopard, as far as 'Making a clean break,'

I'm inclined to wonder whether it isn't something called Objective C-- the fact that a lot of stuff has to be rewritten.


However, that wouldn't explain why generic Java fixes needed to be held back.
