We have found several issues with the new "improved" Aqua L&F on
Leopard.
As far as I understand there are no release notes available (yet?).
What changes
have been made? Are there any known issues?
Hopefully early this week, but I can't promise anything because I
honestly don't know (at this moment).
There only one major issue off the top of my head: null insets can
cause JTextComponents to accidently NullPointerException in the Aqua
LaF code. I believe this could also be triggered by a border applied
to a JTextComponent that returns null margins.
I will try to see if I can get this into the release notes.
Can you please file bugs at http://bugreporter.apple.com with these
issues you have found? I know it is often tedious to write a thorough
bug, but it is extremely helpful to us if you have a code snippet with
a main() or a JUnit test. Screenshots are always very helpful as well.
