Parallels or VMware running a virtual Ubuntu or Windows?
Evidence suggests you should max the MBP's RAM, but it amy be a workable tradeoff.
Here's one option you left out: wait and see.
Leopard has been out for about 72 hours now. Things could change in
another 72 hours. Or maybe longer. Or not.
