I was surprised to see the caret moving down in the editor window as well.  So there's a bug: in some context menus like the refactor menu, key clicks are also hitting the underlying window.

I saw a similar bug reported late in the Leopard cycle. I _believe_ this is a Carbon bug, but I can't recall if they supposedly fixed it in time for GM. Please file a bug at bugreport.apple.com and we'll route it to them. The Carbon team actively tests with Eclipse, so they will definitely have a look.
