Don't cite JDJ as a reliable source of information. It's utter garbage. Also, don't start the "waaah Java 6" drama again. It's garbage too.


To illustrate the point that JDJ is garbage: Jobs' comment about "nobody uses Java" was in the context of an interviewer asking him why Safari on the iPhone doesn't support applets. In that context, he's absolutely correct. Anybody who cites that as some sort of evidence that Apple is dropping Java needs to find a different career... perhaps in politics.

Stick around. Leopard will see Java 6, and I suspect in fairly short order.
