Agreed. I think the biggest issue is that people's comfort levels
have dropped considerably when there's no word on what Apple is doing
with Java 6 - it just stopped happening - and that any questions or
complaints about it are deleted on the Apple discussion forums.
Personally I'd hate to have to take this beautiful Mac Pro of mine and
just end up dual booting it and running XP or Vista 99% of the time
because one of the main reasons I went with Apple (their expanding
Java support) suddenly disappears.
I think if Apple would just say "hey.. we know you want it..we're
working on finishing it up.. just sit tight" all of this would go
away. But complete silence?
