Re: Exception when loading signed applet on Leopard

On Oct 31, 2007, at 6:48 PM, Shawn Erickson wrote:

Has anyone else seen an exception like the following when using Leopard and Safari to load a signed applet?

The exception results in a dialog stating "Certificate Not Verified Code will be treated as unsigned". I have cleared caches, etc.

security: Loading certificates from Deployment session certificate store
security: Loaded certificates from Deployment session certificate store
security: Checking if certificate is in Deployment session certificate store
security: User has denied the priviledges to the code
java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 1, Size: 1
at java.util.LinkedList.entry(LinkedList.java:368)
at java.util.LinkedList.get(LinkedList.java:313)

So if I switch to a newly create account on the same system I don't see the above exception and things work as expected. I manually removed any and all Java related caches (not preferences yet) in the problematic account and still see this issue.

Anyway off to dig into this issue more...
