Re: Exception when loading signed applet on Leopard

Has anyone else seen an exception like the following when using Leopard and Safari to load a signed applet?

The exception results in a dialog stating "Certificate Not Verified Code will be treated as unsigned". I have cleared caches, etc.

Yes, I just logged it with Apple in fact. It only happens with expired certificates for me, though it might also happen with untrusted certificates - not sure.

So if I switch to a newly create account on the same system I don't see the above exception and things work as expected. I manually removed any and all Java related caches (not preferences yet) in the problematic account and still see this issue.

Good to know - that means it's far less likely to occur for our users.

Regards,

Adrian Sutton.
