Hello Java developers,

A developer preview of Java for Mac OS X 10.5, Update 2 is now available at http://connect.apple.com. The standard ADC terms and conditions apply, as does the recommendation to test this update on non-critical systems.

In particular, we would appreciate your feedback on the following areas:

• Drag-and-drop of files with names in various encodings

• Printing with javax.print and AWT printing APIs

• Launching WebStart applications that specify various Java platform versions

• Changing the preferred version of Java in Java Preferences

Any and all issues should be reported at https://bugreport.apple.com. Thanks!
