We know that a Mac app can get the user-set default java version
pretty easily, and that you can depend on Java6 on 10.6 and most
IA64/10.5, so it really depends on what Chrome targets, what Apple

IA64 is the Itanium ISA, a completely different beast from the 64 bit Intel chips in current Macs (which ISA is usually referred to as x86-64 or EM64T).
