Probably you don't want to run it in Java 6 - 64bit yet. It uses almost
double the memory. Instead it's at the moment better to use Java 5 to
run IntelliJ Idea. You can compile your projects just fine with Java 6.

BTW, IntelliJ IDEA v8 "Diana" will be released very soon.
