Hi Java Dev Team,
I am working on a Graphics application which
provides the user with various types of pens for line drawing with different
styles (like lines with Arrow ends, lines with dashed styles as found in Word
document).
One pen style is Multicolor pen which provides the user with an option to draw a 2 colored line. This facility I am providing by using GradientPaint class of Java API. Everything was working fine upto Java update 2 (jdk1.5.0_16). Recently when I updated the java version for update 4 and then 5, the drawing of Gradient style line broke. I am attaching the screen shots of Gradient Style line taken before and after the update 4 of Java (i.e. jdk1.5.0_19 or more). I am not sure about which particular change of
newer version introduced this issue.
Can anybody help me out in resolving this issue
or atleast provide some workaround to solve it?
Is there any possibility to update code such that
the old version of GradientPaint can be used even after upgrading java to some
newer version ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
VPKVL
