I would like to thank everyone who has engaged in constructive discussion (and criticism!) of the deprecation notice. Your thoughts have been heard, but now there do not appear to be any new points of productive conversation occurring.
We will be sure to inform this list when we have more to share on this topic.
Until then, please help us to keep this list focused on the technical issues in Java for Mac OS X.
