not with current hw.

the issue is the hw can't interpolate between the 2 textures, so on the
edges you get artifacts.

the standard workaround is to force the isse by copying the border texels
of the 2nd texture into the first. In the 64x64 case, this will result in
a source image area of 62x62 with a 1-texel margin all around.
