NV_fragment_program2

It looks like a some of the NV40/DX9/PS3.0 features supported on the GeForce 6800 Ultra
aren't available through OpenGL (on OSX), as of 10.3.7. Particularly, I could use the
NV_fragment_program2 extensions. Am I missing something? If not, then is there
any chance of seeing these extensions sometime soon?
