Re: Mac OS 9 and Open GL

I wasn't using AGL_BUFFER_RECT then, but I tried it since then. The result was the same.

But, no matter what I do, for some weird reason on Mac OS 9 the image is rendered into a lower-right corner of the window. For now I just initialize AGL and clear the screen, that's all I'm doing. On Mac OS X the same application works fine (this is a Carbon CFM app, so it can run on both OSs).

Could someone give a link to a sample code that compiles with Code Warrior into a Carbon CFM application, where I could see AGL initialization? I tried googling for this, but for now I've not found much.

Are you using AGL_BUFFER_RECT by any chance?

If so you need to make certain that the origin of the port is known to you and that the buffer rectangle that is passed into OpenGL compensates for this.

very curious about the following issue:

I have a Carbon CFM application. When I run it on Mac OS 9, I see, that instead of drawing on the entire window (as is the case on Mac OS X), it draws only on the lower-right part of the window. Why?

What am I doing wrong?

What makes me really sad is that I seem to remember an article on the Apple website that covered this very problem, but now I cannot find it. If there really is such an article, a link would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Igor
