CGL pause?

Hello all,

My apologies if this has been covered, but i couldn't find anything in the archives address this......
I just 'upgraded' my OpenGl setup to the most recent Carbon AGL full screen to take advantgage of the carbon event handling. I take it that it is using CGL.

I had previously been using

<x-tad-smaller> glFinish ();
aglSetDrawable(pContextInfo->aglContext, </x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>NULL</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>);
aglSetCurrentContext (</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>NULL</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>);
</x-tad-smaller>
to disable OpenGL so that I could display dialog boxes and alerts, but this is not working in the new framework.
Is it still possible to release the screen to do other things?
