Hi, I'm just a student and a beginner in OpenGL but I
thought that Mesa (if it is really mesa3d.org you were
referring to) was "OpenGL emulation" for those who don't
have a 3D-accelerated graphic card. Am I mistaken?

If it was the case you wouldn't be able to compare the
performance of a hardware-based solution (Apple
computer) with a software- based solution (like Mesa
written in C).
