CGL + single graphics contexts across dual screen

I would like implement and OpenGL/OpenSceneGraph application ontop of
CGL, rendering to two side by side screens, driven by a single
graphics card. If its possible I want to address both screens as a
single window/graphic context. Are there any simple CGL examples
online that I could look at for inspiration?

So far I have tinkered with OpenProducer's preliminary CGL support, I
could only tweak it capture both screens, but couldn't open a single
graphics context across both screens. I'm very new to CGL so was
hoping to leverage some of the collective wisdom of this list :)

If CGL can't open up a single graphics context across the two screens
I'll need to implement it as two graphics context, which then leads
onto the question about sharing OpenGl resource between contexts, and
also multi-threading of the graphics of each context. The
OpenSceneGraph supports multi-threaded multiple graphics contexts so
will be able to do if CGL is up to it. So does CGL support driving
the two graphics context in parallel threads?

As a bit of background, I've been using the OpenGL/OpenSceneGraph on
the Mac under GLX so far, which is workable but far from ideal w.r.t
window manager and OpenGL driver quality.

Thanks in advance,
Robert.
