Damn! Sorry about that. We'll work on fixing it right away, so that we can get a fix out as soon as possible.
Obviously we have a hole in our automated testing. If you send us the reproducer, we'll be diligent and add
it to our nightly tests.

Thanks - three one possible differentials:
1. Doesn't happen if the texture is mipmapped.
2. Doesn't happen if the texture is pre-compressed.
3. Doesn't happen if the internal format is uncompressed.
So we only see this on non-mipped, driver-compressed RGBA images...
