Home Directory Issues Workgroup Manager

Hello,

Hoping maybe someone has seen this before.

We have 60 17" iMacs running 10.2.6 using Workgroup Manager on Server 10.2.6 off an xServe using Cisco switches running 100 Base. A few of the 60 machines are also running off a Cisco 802.11b wireless network. We have been running this set up for a few months now with no similar issues, nothing has been changed in weeks as far as software goes. A few days ago we started having an issue with the home directory dropping while users are logged in and active. This causes the machine to lag up until you force quit all the apps and log out and back in. Sometimes a restart of the machine is needed. Once logged back in everything seems to be fine again. While a lab machine (client) is in the lagged up state it can still be pinged and is responsive over the network. When the issue happens it seems to effect most everyone who is logged into the system at the time but not everyone who is logged in at time. This has happened on 6 occasions now over a 3 day period that I know of.

Any ideas? Things I should try? Similar issues?

Thank you for you time
Hope you have a good weekend
MA
