Re: How can I create a shadow file upon log in?

use last from the console... i.e.

userid$ last
userid ttyp1 Sat Apr 5 08:33 - 08:33 (00:00)
userid console host.local Sat Apr 5 08:29 still logged in
reboot ~ Sat Apr 5 08:29
shutdown ~ Thu Apr 3 17:49
