10.3.3 Cient Error logging in to 10.3.3 Server

We just completed a migration of a G4 Server running 10.2.6 to an Xserve running 10.3.3

We were able to move all data, log ins, etc., to the new server, but have one problem.

When attempting to log in to the Xserve from a 10.3.3 iBook G4, You get the log in window, we enter the user name and password, we get our list of workgroups to choose from and then we see the following error message:

You are unable to log in to the user
account "Bee Jonathan" at this time

Logging in to the account failed because an error
occurred. The home folder for the user account is
located on an AFP or SMB server. Contact your
system administrator for help.

This problem has nothing to do with Fast User Switching (as some people have suggested on websites we researched).

We do keep the home folder on the server.

This same user can log in correctly from a 10.2.6 iBook G3.

On the client machine, if I log in as admin locally, and then use the GO menu to connect to the server, the user Bee Jonathan can log in and can see his home directory and have access to all his folders and data.

We have already manually removed the MCX_Cache.

Thank you.
