Re: Volume mount applescript - ruminations of dubious value



Thanks Derek. Perhaps I should have been clearer. It is a ten client
room used for special purposes (language learning), the last OS 9 room.
Both the clients and the server use OS 9.2, with the included Apple file
sharing, which is limited to 10 simultaneous connections. What is
strange is that the script seems to allow only 9. There are two shared
volumes on the server. One is the disk image used by assimilator, but
since we assimilate on startup that is never mounted at the same time as
the student shared files volume. It does seem that the other shared
volume, or perhaps the server itself is being treated as a connection
when using this script. Still looking for a workaround,
