SyQuest Syjet 1.5 Drive and Mac OS X

One of my Professors just got a new 17 inch Powerbook running 10.3.3 and classic. He wants me to get his SCSI SyQuest Syjet 1.5 drive to run on the computer. Also, to connect the SCSI drive the the computer I am using a Entrega Mac-USB-Dock. The drivers for the Mac-USB-Dock are only for classic.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I could get this SyQuest drive to work. I have tried installing the drivers for the SyQuest and the Entrega devices, but nothing shows up in the SCSI section of the Apple System Profiler or Silverlining lite.
