Sorry if you're seeing this message twice, but I posted it earlier on
the Bonjour mailing list. While at WWDC last week, I noticed a ton
of Bonjour service types being advertised on the network that weren't
registered at dns-sd.org. I'd encourage everyone that hasn't
registered their service types to take 5 minutes and follow the
instructions on the web page.
We have some volunteers working on an Internet Draft that gives IANA
responsibility for managing the SRV service type registry, and when
that happens, all the service types on dns-sd.org will most likely be
transfered over to IANA's official list. So please reserve your
service type today so it can appear on IANA's list in the future.
