I have narrowed the problem down to Airport Extreme hardware. These do not show up as Airport "Ports" when running MoreSCFPortscanner. When I run the moreSCFTest on my PowerBook G4 12" I get a listing like this: MoreSCFTest Running all tests TestPortScanner MoreSCFPortScanner.c: You should install a port name callback. Port 0 device = modem name = Internal Modem hardware = Modem variant = (null) type = PPP subtype = PPPSerial MAC = (null) hold = 1 sort = 0 Port 1 device = Bluetooth-Modem name = bluetooth-modem-port hardware = Modem variant = (null) type = PPP subtype = PPPSerial MAC = (null) sort = 2 Port 2 device = Bluetooth-PDA-Sync name = bluetooth-pda-sync-port hardware = Modem variant = (null) type = PPP subtype = PPPSerial MAC = (null) sort = 4 Port 3 device = en0 name = Built-in Ethernet hardware = Ethernet variant = (null) type = Ethernet subtype = (null) MAC = --MAC address removed for security-- sort = 5 Port 4 device = en1 name = PCI Ethernet Slot 2 hardware = Ethernet variant = (null) type = Ethernet subtype = (null) MAC = --MAC address removed for security-- sort = 6 However: TestServiceEnumerate and TestEnumerateEntities both show "Airport" hardware correctly. Any Suggestions? _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
