get the Authentication window on which it will not allow me to login in as
root.9 It states that I do not have enough privileges. Any idea what is

Try logging in as Administrator

If still unsuccessful, log in using the web browser, type in your server url
followed by :311 i.e. http://www.yourOSXSname.com:311 then login as
administrator. There is suppose to be a mac os way of accessing Mac Manager
but I can't remember what version of the mac os is required.
