Installation problem on OSX server

I'm sure this is just a simple problem. As I'm not a UNIX buff, I'm quite lost.

I just tried installing the CommuniGatePro server (Rhapsody) on a G4/500/10-100-1000 server running the 1.2v3 MacOS X server.
All seems fine until the Install stops on the following error.

-----
Installing CommuniGatePro.pkg into / ...
Generating new bill of materials for this package (this can take a while)... OK.
Running installation program ... /tmp/.CommuniGatePro.tmp/CommuniGatePro.post_install: Permission denied.
**** There were errors while installing CommuniGatePro.pkg.
-----
I was connected as root.
There was plenty of hard disk space.
The OSX-server has just been installed, with only web and QT-streaming enabled.
None of the services have been used so far.
NetBoot is not setup.
No other apps have been added.

One person from Stalker suggested to do remote install.

Please help.

Kind regards,
Patrick Ceulemans
