RE: XServe is quiet



It is certainly quiet, until the blowers kick in at full speed when the
CPUs get hot, at which point it sounds like a jet airplane taking off.
Scared the living pants off the guy who graciously hosted our box in his
office -- that is, for about a day, until he heard the racket.

That said, I've heard louder systems.
