Thanks. I have only been doing users and groups though. I have not assigned names to individual workstations (ie nothing in computer list). Is that problematic?

I have a number of Win2K and XP clients connected to my Xserve. I am
administering the Xserve remotely via an iBook. There seems to be a
delay to when a change is made to permissions and user accounts before
they take effect. I can't tell if this delay is minutes or hours.
More than once, I have tried to set a permission repeatedly to no avail
and then come back hours later to have the permission operating
properly. Has anyone else seen this? Any idea on how long the delay
may be? Is there a way to force immediate changes?
